Within the Izmir Agricultural Technology Center (İTTM) and under the leadership of the Izmir Commodity Exchange, a cooperation protocol was signed between Ege University and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology for the development of a smart irrigation project based on remote sensing methods. The project aims to develop technologies that will enable the efficient use of water resources in cotton production.
