INFORMATION NOTICE

Dear visitors/members;https://ittm.com.tr/ persons accessing the website are informed by İzmir Agriculture Technology Development Center Joint Stock Company “İTTM”, as the data controller, about the processing of their personal data for the purposes described below by filling out the electronic form or contact form. İTTM, as the data controller, processes and keeps confidential your personal data obtained within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy and the Retention and Destruction Policy. With this document, we fulfill our obligation to inform and request your consent as the data controller, whose information is provided below.

1. Data Processing Activity and Scope

1.1. Processed Personal Data

Your personal data shared with İTTM verbally, in writing, or electronically via the https://ittm.com.tr/ website, İTTM, representatives, SMS, and other channels are processed, stored, and transferred within the framework disclosed in KVKK and to the extent permitted by legal regulations, by İTTM as the Data Controller under Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as the “Law” or “KVKK”).

In this context, your personal data may be used and processed physically or electronically by us for the purposes of providing İTTM services, carrying out necessary work in this scope, conducting İTTM’s commercial activities, contacting you regarding our activities and services if you have given explicit consent, and sending promotional, informative, thank-you, and announcement communications regarding İTTM.

İTTM may update and modify this Information Notice at any time by publishing it on İTTM. Updates and changes will be valid from the date they are published on https://ittm.com.tr/.

2. Method, Legal Reason, and Purpose of Processing Personal Data 

Your personal data is collected and processed physically or electronically as listed below:

The personal data obtained through the above methods is processed automatically and non-automatically for the following reasons: i) to fulfill İTTM’s legal obligations, ii) it is necessary for direct communication with İTTM, iii) processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right.

The purpose of processing your personal data is to fulfill the establishment purpose of İTTM, carry out our activities, comply with the applicable legislation, fulfill legal obligations, manage İTTM operations in compliance with legislation, create and track user records, conduct information security processes, and manage storage and archiving activities, based on explicit provisions in Article 5/2(a) of KVKK and the Law No. 5651 regarding the liability of service providers in Internet publications.

3. Method of Collecting Your Personal Data

Your personal data is obtained through the information and contact forms filled out on the https://ittm.com.tr/ website.

4. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

In this context, your personal data is processed using specialized database software for the following purposes:

1. Conducting / Auditing Business Activities
2. Receiving and Evaluating Suggestions for Improving Business Processes
3. Ensuring Business Continuity Activities
4. Carrying Out Goods / Services Sales
5. Carrying Out After-Sales Support Services for Goods / Services
6. Providing Information to Authorized Persons, Institutions, and Organizations
7. Managing and executing the main activities of the project
8. Making project announcements and notifications
9. Analyzing data to improve institutional and website services
10. Providing faster and more effective service to persons filling out the contact form

5. Legal Grounds for Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data is processed for the following legal grounds:

1. Public disclosure by the individual
2. Processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right
3. To comply with obligations under relevant legislation, including Law No. 5651 on Internet Publications and Law No. 5237 Turkish Penal Code
4. Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person

6. Transfer of Your Personal Data

In accordance with KVKK and related legislation, taking all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure an appropriate level of security, your Personal Data may be transferred for the purposes stated above to:

1. Persons/institutions/organizations permitted under other relevant legislation
2. Business partners
3. Domestic institutions with which we have contractual services or collaborations to carry out our activities

Pursuant to Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to third parties deemed necessary for the continuation of İTTM’s activities (program partners, collaborating institutions, legal entities or individuals, suppliers, donors, company executives/employees, company management/security units, legally authorized public institutions, legally authorized private law entities, or foreign countries). If necessary, transfers to law enforcement and judicial authorities may also occur.  

7. Retention Period of Personal Data

İTTM retains processed personal data accurately and up-to-date using technological methods for the 10-year period stipulated by legislation. If the reasons requiring the processing of personal data cease to exist and/or the legally prescribed retention period expires, the personal data will be deleted or destroyed upon request.

8. Your Rights under KVKK

To the extent that your data is processed by our institution and our institution acts as the data controller, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

1. To learn whether your personal data is processed;
2. To request information regarding the processing of your personal data;
3. To learn the purposes of processing your personal data;
4. To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, domestically or abroad;
5. To request correction of your personal data if it is processed incompletely or inaccurately;
6. To request deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring processing no longer exist or if the institution lacks legal grounds or legitimate interest to process the data;
7. To request the institution ensure that authorized third parties processing personal data also respect your rights;
8. To object to negative consequences that may arise from the automatic processing of personal data;
9. To claim compensation for any damage resulting from unlawful processing of personal data.

9. Application to the Data Controller

You can submit your requests under Article 11 of the Law regarding your rights to the physical address of our institution in writing or via electronic mail that can be verified by you, in accordance with the “Communiqué on Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.”

11. EXPLICIT CONSENT DECLARATION

With the information notice prepared by İTTM under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”);

1- You have read and understood which personal data is collected by which methods, for which legal reasons and purposes it is processed, to whom it is transferred for which purposes, which personal data is processed and transferred without your explicit consent and which is processed and transferred with your explicit consent, and

2- You have read and understood your rights listed under Article 11 of KVKK.

You consent to the processing and transfer of your personal data by Izmir Agriculture Technology Development Center Joint Stock Company, located at Camiikebir Mahallesi, Menemen Maltepe Yolu Sokak. No:25/4 Menemen/IZMIR. You also consent to the limited and proportionate processing of personal data collected verbally, in writing, or electronically for the legitimate interests of the data controller such as security, audit, or health, as well as receiving commercial electronic communications;

You accept this with explicit consent.
