Project Summary : An initiative aimed at enhancing space-based connectivity in Türkiye’s rural regions to support next-generation agriculture and emerging rural technologies.
The project is carried out in collaboration with Satellite Applications Catapult (SA Catapult), Izmir Commodity Exchange, and the İzmir Agricultural Technology Center (İTTM), with the support of various public and private stakeholders in Türkiye and the United Kingdom.
As part of the project, the first UK → Türkiye study visit was conducted, and meetings with project stakeholders were initiated.
During the second UK → Türkiye study visit, two workshops were held in October 2024 with the participation of satellite providers, users, and decision-making institutions.
The second Türkiye → UK study visit was carried out between January 27–31, 2025, with representatives from İTB, İTTM, Turkcell, BTK, UTAEM, and the Karateke Village Irrigation Cooperative.
